Olympic Opening Ceremonies

The Olympic opening ceremonies were held on Friday, February 12th. They were amazing. They had lots of entertainment, some needed moments of silence and of course lots to do with the Olympics. My favourite part was the performance by Nelly Furtado and Byran Adams singing a Athlete Tribute song, called Bang the Drum. There were a few difficulties but they were passed smoothly. The big secret that was held (who would be the final tourch carrier) was then released. The final tourch carrier was Wayne Gretzky. Betty Fox who was rumored may be the final tourch carrier actually carried the official Olympic flag along with five others.
This picture is before the teams parade. Canada had the 2nd biggest team next to USA. USA had 208 and Canada had 206.
