I heard that Kevin Martin won against Switzerland 6-4 on Sunday. The first loss of Cheryl Bernard's team, with a score of 6-5 in extra end, against China. What do you boys and girls think we should do for the next Olympic challenge?
P.S. sorry I couldn't post on the weekend I went to Brandon then my internet was down.

FIRST GOLD GOES TO...................................ALEX BILODEAU

On Sunday February, 14 2010 history was made on Cypress Mountain, BC, Canada, as Canada's Alex Bilodeau took home the first ever gold medal on home soil in the Olympics. Everyone expected Jennifer Heil to win the first gold medal in woman's moguls. However it was the opposite gender but same sport that took home the gold. His brother Frédéric Bilodeau was born with cerebral palsy. Brother Alex said, "he is my insipration, and a differance maker in my life." The docter told Frédéric that he wouldn't walk after the age of 10, not only did he walk after 10 he was skiing the slops with his brother. Alex said,"On the days that I don't want to go train, I think of Frédéric and how he can't go train." There is 1 gold medal for Canada so far, but i know that there will be more to come.

X-Games+Olympics+School=Awkward (HAHAHAHA see what I did there because its Math)

Hello, as you all may or may not know the Olympics are going on in a few days so Mr.O had a great idea. Are you confused by the title and what im saying, well our class is combining school and fun, I know it sounds great and it is. OK so yesterday we did a MAD minute (RAWR!!!) and after everyone in our group was done the math part we locked arms and ran like a person running fast, and then we ran into the Library (so much for being quiet) ran around a table and another and another and there is about 7 or 8 tables people in the Library were walking out of the side rooms staring and looking like what are those people doing?!?! people in our group were tripping over chairs slowing us down but its OK we were still doing pretty good, so then we ran through the Life Skills Suite and back to room 107. Where then we had to do 100 push-ups oh yes 100!!! well Drew did 50 I did about 17, but everyone in the group had to do at least 1 push-up, that was fun. Oh ya GO ATHENS (everyone else is going down we were just warming up that's why we only got 8 points you just wait)

Olympic Challenge

For the first Olympic Challenge we had to do a sheet of math questions. When we were done we would go out into the hall and wait t for the fest of our team to finish. Once everyone was done we had to all lock arms and run into the library and go around all the tables, go throught hte life skills door and go back to our class. There we had to do 100 pushups then side donw in our sets.
I liked this challange it was fun and got us to use our brains.

Another good challenge i think would be if it had something to do with spelling and like a treasure hunt or something like that were we have to dgo around the school and find somthing.

The Great 8O Race

Today we did a race in ELA and it was one of the funnest things ever. We did some physical activity, math, and team work with it. The math questions were multiplication with the facts only form 0 to 10. The Physical activity part was the push-ups and the chain running. The team work part was the chain running and having to turn as a team and shuffle as a team. I hope we do another physical activity event sometime.

X-Games

I think the first oylimpic challange went very secsesfully and the next thing could be something simlier but do it throughout the school but two people or three people are in a group and then the rest are scatered around the school and they could answer a question and then move on to the next people in the relay race and who gets to the classroom the fastest winns and if you get a answer wrong then you loss 5 points for every answer you get wrong.

Good time

Today we had a good time with our first Olympic X-game. I thought it was fun and well thought out.

Olympic X-Games!!

Today, we had our Olympic challenges! I personally found them okay. My reason is that I think we should taken off one second for everyone we got wrong. The next Olympic challenge should have something to do with Hockey And Spelling!!

:)

Sincerely,
Gilles!
