The Olympic Games

I thought the Olympic game we played today was really fun. I liked how we got to run down the hallway and go around all the tables. For the next one I think it should have something to do with a sort of relay and maybe spelling.

Today we had a good time with our first Olympic X-game. I thought it was fun and well thought out.

Today, we had our Olympic challenges! I personally found them okay. My reason is that I think we should taken off one second for everyone we got wrong. The next Olympic challenge should have something to do with Hockey And Spelling!!

What a Fun Time at the Grade 8 Olympics!

My thought on the first event is it was really fun, really amazing and most people had a good time and participated great! I really liked how we did some math and some physical activity for the event.

A suggestion for a future event is you could combine some E.L.A., Math and some physical activity together. So maybe you had to do some physical activity at the start then run somewhere and do something for E.L.A. and then you had get a clue from the E.L.A. to do the Math. I dunno that was just a suggestion to maybe think about. :)

I had a great time and hope to do some more events !! !!

YOYOYO THE X-GAMES YO

Hi its Drew and I had a AWESOME time at the X-GAMES. It was really fun going around the library tables, doing a mad minute(because I really like doing those), and I did 50 push ups!!!!!! So, all in all, the first event was awesome. For the next event i think we should do a bedmas thing and then do an insane running race!!!

Day One of the Room 107 Olympics

I thought the first class olympics was awesome because we had to do a mad minute and then race down the hallway, through the library, and back into the class room and your group had to do a hundred push-ups! Thebes was the last off the starting block but we ended up winning! For the next olympic event we should run down the hallway do 15 push-ups, and do 10 math dividing fractions questions.

Today we had the first ever 107 Olympic games the theam of it was (X GAMES). I thought it was fun but we should of had a better coarse like a outside coarse or something. to improve it we could have to study for a 2 page review test of math or social studies, or science or all together.

the first challenge was fun Thebes won we thought that we lost because some one tripped Nathan but we won in the push ups and the math. A good next challenge is would a relay race when we good through the whole school and do different types of math question from that we have learned so far for like a review for the exam

The first Olympic Games in room 107 was awesome. I liked how we did our writing rules, then had to run down the hall way and burring our parners in the snow! I think for the next game we should mix it in with Spelling or Gym. I can't wait until the next Olympic games to see what we're going to compete against.

Need For Speed

The first event was very fun but challenging. It was harder than I thought remembering our times table. It was also very challenging to link together and run around tables. We were the last to leave the room to the library but we ended second in the push ups and won with the least errors. Go Thebes. The next event should have to do with strength and speed for individuals in each team. We could show off our strength and racing is fun.

I have a bee hive that is 2/5 full and there is 4 sections in the3 hive. How full is each section?

Today in math we watched a video on how two person bobsledding.

Then we did work on pages 227 and 228 7-11 is due for Monday.

There are two ways to divide fractions. We have previously learned about dividing fractions through multiplication. (Can you say recipricocal??)

Today we looked at dividing fractions through using a common denominator.
